Oldsmobile Curved Dash（以下稱"彎擋板"車）汽車是世界上第一款大量生產的汽車。1901年，Oldsmobile"彎擋板"汽車開始量產，當年總共生產了425輛，1902年，生產量躍升至2500輛，1903年，Oldsmobile製造了3924輛R型"彎擋板"車，並一躍成為當時美國最大的汽車製造商。在往後的幾年中，Oldsmobile"彎擋板"車款多次在設計上嘗試改變，直到1906年停止生產為止。1904年版的Oldsmobile 6C型"彎擋板"車款看上去和R型"彎擋板"汽車很像，但實際上，6C型"彎擋板"車款在車身上要比R型車款大一點，動力更強勁，在結構上也比前代車款更堅固。
