VW Touareg Trophy Truck將搭載V12 TDI

這幾年來VW一直使用柴油動力的Touareg參加在世界各地舉行的各種越野拉力賽，包括Dakar Rally賽，在過去兩年的Baja 500和Pikes Peak Hill Climb比賽中，他們都獲得了他們所在組別的冠軍。到目前為止這些參賽車所使用的引擎不是2.5升5汽缸柴油引擎就是5.0升V10柴油引擎。
